Global Winner Small Space RBDA 2021

Smoked Room, located next to Leña in the Hyatt Regency Hesperia Hotel, offers an exclusive experience for 14 diners. This space merges a mysterious and comfortable atmosphere with a futuristic New York aesthetic.

The concept for this space was to create a place that looked like it had always existed in that location. Materials such as black bricks combined with metals, mirrors, brass meshes, and other richer textures create a polished and interesting result recalling the vividness of fire sparks.

The space is divided into two completely different atmospheres. One of the areas has an open kitchen experience for 6 diners, while the other space is composed by two booths where the center of attention becomes the light fixtures designed by the studio.
