Overall Winner RBDA 2021

This culinary space treasures the essence of primitive, raw and primary materials. Stone and wood are not only interior design elements, but also are the basis of the gastronomic proposal of the restaurant. Leña is a steakhouse where meat and the different ways to cook it are the central focus.

Firewood’s irregular textures and rings marked by time creates this project’s identity. A multisensory experience is created by understanding the origin and use of this complex but rich material.

The space is covered by an intense jet black tone, where its differen textures remind us of the everchanging firewood. These tones cover not only the walls, but the ceiling, floors, and furniture too.

Nature and organic lines are present everywhere throughout the space.
